First, Thank you for the great question. My dog is an XL bully and my wife is under 5ft tall. These dogs are strong so they need to be well trained or you and other people can get hurt even if the dog is well intentioned. For example you don't want a 40lb puppy running full speed into you when its hyper. The great news is that the American Bully breed is very smart. If you take the time and put in the work to get them trained you wont have a problem. These dogs will need a place to burn off some energy frequently so I would also take that into consideration. If you train the dogs and let them exercise regularly you shouldn't have a problem handling the dog. Hope this helps, let me know if theres anything else I can answer for you.
